Celebrate the Fourth of July at Summerseat

Independence Day - Friday, July 4th.




Celebrate the birth of America by listening to a reading of the

Declaration of Independence and join in a discussion of

Colonial American history at National Historic Landmark,

Summerseat which was Washington's Headquarters

from December 8th to 14th, 1776.

Two Signers of BOTH the

Declaration of Independence and the

American Constitution owned Summerseat,

Robert Morris, and George Clymer.

Bring a Covered Dish for 6 to share, or

bring a Sandwich for yourself,

Summerseat will provide water

Kick off the Christmas Season at Summerseat by singing Christmas Carols lead by Jim Gafgen, tenor & BJ Lebergern on piano

Arrive in a Horse Drawn Carriage. Washington will address the crowd assembled.

Delaware Valley National Railway Historic Society will present a Display of Lionel, American Flyer, toy, and narrow scale trains
